Hijab Unveiled: Weaving Yemeni Stories in Fabric and Metaphor
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
A hijab created in focus to display my mother’s story through her fraught up bringing in Yemen. The hijab is used to hide women’s privacy and beauty, but through this, her story is imprinted onto it, creating a metaphor to be unseen but for her story to be heard by others.
